The BIG Give is back!
Running from May 19 through June 30, The BIG Give is your opportunity to stand up for Baltimore County’s libraries at a time when their role in our community has never been more essential—or more at risk. With your help, Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library can continue to fund the programs and resources that keep our libraries strong, inclusive and vital.
The need is urgent—and growing.
Across the country, libraries are facing new challenges. Access to information is under threat. Families are struggling to find reliable early learning resources. Communities are demanding digital access, trusted spaces, and educational support. In these uncertain times, libraries remain among the most trusted institutions—providing connection, opportunity and belonging for everyone, no matter who they are or where they come from. Libraries are not just important; they are essential for building thriving, equitable communities.
Families count on us for early literacy. Job seekers depend on us for digital access. Communities look to us to bridge gaps in language and learning. From Storyville and STREAM learning vehicles to translation tools like Pocketalk and long-term device lending, your donation fuels programs that open doors, close gaps, and connect people to the resources they need to succeed.
