Join us for a special program celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. Pulitzer Prize-winning historian, presidential biographer and bestselling author of American Struggle, American Lion, The Soul of America, and And There Was Light, Meacham is one of the nation’s most compelling voices on history, leadership and the enduring American experiment. This timely conversation will offer insight, perspective and reflection on the people, ideals and moments that have shaped our nation over 250 years.
This program is presented by Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library with generous support from the Baltimore Community Foundation, Maryland 250 Commission, Bonnie Clarke, Point Breeze Credit Union, Goucher College, and APG Federal Credit Union. Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available. Email Julie Saxenmeyer for more information.
Book sales are available before and after the program.
Tickets for this event are free, though reservations are required. Tickets will be available from the Goucher ticket office. Exact date and time, along with additional details, to be announced closer to the event.
The Foundation hosts a private reception for sponsors and Bibliophile Level donors and above, offering exclusive access to each author preceding the public event. To learn more about how you can be invited to these receptions, email Josh McCready.
