Alexander McCall Smith’s newest book, The Great Hippopotamus Hotel, is the 25th installment in The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency series, featuring the beloved Botswanan detective Mma Precious Ramotswe and her trusty sidekick Mma Grace Makutsi. McCall Smith, known for his lively, colorful characters, has penned six series for adults – his newest being the Perfect Passion Company published this year, two series for children and several standalone books. Join us as he discusses his books, writing and experiences and answers questions from the audience. Book sales and signings to follow.
