Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library welcomes new Executive Director Ann Beegle. Baltimore County Public Library hired Ann as Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships, which also serves as the executive director of the Foundation.
“I love that the library meets people where they are with their needs, whether it is a young mother and child engaging with Storyville, a senior getting help filling out tax forms or a group of teens hanging out in one of our gaming rooms after school,” said Ann. “I look forward to meeting with the Foundation’s donors — people who share what I value about the library and want to help ensure it continues to grow and thrive.”
Ann brings three decades of experience in fundraising and foundation work to the library, including raising money for The Walters Art Museum and managing grant funding for the Baltimore Community Foundation. She was also the Executive Director for the Star-Spangled 220, Inc., where she oversaw the planning, fundraising and production of a multi-year commemoration of the War of 1812 and the 200th anniversary of the national anthem.
